What is Clone Hero? Guitar Hero Clone Short Overview

Clone Hero is essentially a Guitar Hero clone, hence the name Clone Hero.

It's pretty much identical to Guitar Hero, except it's on PC and you can play thousands of songs thanks to the dedicated charters in the community.

And... it's FREE.

The best way to play the game is with a Guitar controller, though they are quite hard to come by. Sadly the controllers aren't being manufactured anymore, ALTHOUGH there is currently talks with the peripheral manufacturer company Hyperkin to create new controllers. Otherwise, you can usually find original Guitar Hero or Rock Band guitars second-hand on eBay and other reselling sites.

The other and possibly more common way to play the game now, is with a keyboard.

Also, if you have an electric drum kit, or original Guitar Hero or Rock Band drum kit, you can play drums on Clone Hero.

You get modifiers.
You can speed up songs.
You can practice.
You can play online against other players.
You can even watch and play the Shrek movie. I don't know why, obviously someone had too much time on their hands.
