How to give nursing report in acute situations such as RRTs, Code Blue, or when talking with a provider after paging them for a change in patient status. As a new nurse, I found that giving nursing report was challenging, particularly in acute situations. I became easily flustered, and was not sure what information was actually helpful in acute situations. In this video I will explain what information is actually needed during an acute event, and how to present it in the clearest way possible. With a little preparation and practice, you can give clear and concise report no matter what situation you are in! This is such an important skill when learning to communicate with other members of the care team.
