Famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson sat down for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off speaking about growing up in the Castle Hill projects in the Bronx with his parents. He then went on to speak about his love of astronomy beginning when he was just 9, and Neil explained why he decided to go to Harvard. After getting his Ph.D., Neil spoke about becoming the head of the Hayden Planetarium, which is where his love of astronomy started when he was a kid. From there, Neil detailed being twice appointed by then-president George W. Bush to serve on the Future of the United States Aerospace Industry and the “Moon, Mars, and Beyond” commission. During the conversation, Neil spoke about living near the World Trade Center during 9/11, and he detailed walking outside with his camcorder to witness the explosion from the first tower collapsing. Moving along, Neil spoke about hosting “Origins” on PBS, and he addressed his comments about the existence of God. Neil also spoke about his response to Kyrie Irving and B.o.B. claiming that the earth is flat and Logic getting him a platinum plaque for his feature on “his album.
