This will change the way we think about airbags. Finally, an airbag that both increase spring rate, return height, AND WON’T LEAK!!!
Pretty much every Y62 Patrol needs airbags to assist the rear independent suspension in carrying unbolted mass and keeping the wheels aligned. This improves handling and tyre wear also. The problem has always been though, that airbags can leak. This can be very frustrating as a workshop owner so we have come up with our own airbag system using an “Interlock” system that positively locks the airbag to braided lines. This avoids heat issues or line and connection failure.
