ICOM IC-7300 CLOCK BATTERY PROBLEM RESOLVED

After disconnected from DC power for extended period, IC-7300 clock battery degrades and causes its time and date resets by itself

I recommend to use SMD rework station or at least a SMD rework hot air gun.
Removing the original battery with a soldering iron will be very challenging and tricky.

SMD hot air gun, fine soldering iron tip, thin gauge soldering wire, thin gauge battery wire, soldering flux paste, flux cleaner will be needed for successful soldering work.
