[Movie Episode 48] DUNE: Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) 1/4 Scale Figure [UNBOXING--BROKEN ARM]

Yes, I have a few 1/4 scale figures and this is one I got just today. So this is a 1/4 scale unboxing. This is Paul Atreides played by Timothée Chalamet. The movie came out in 2021. It will be a series, and I know there will be tons of twists and turns, but I enjoyed the first movie.

When this figure came out on preorder, I started a payment plan, and today I got it. It was a joint project from Prime 1 Studio and Blitzway. The bad thing is it arrived with a broken arm that I thought was simply an "attachable" arm. I was so focused on recording the unboxing, I didn't really notice it was broken. I just assumed it was designed to be attachable. Sigh. The good thing is that it actually broke nicely--that is, if something can break nicely. LOL Regardless, if I have to repair it, I can repair it fairly easily at least from what I can tell. I want to get it replaced though in that no one really wants something broken.

As I noted you can display it with the oxygen tubing or with the mask. I put the tubing around the right ear, but in the photo it goes around the left ear. I suppose, however, whichever way you want to display it is okay. I just wanted to note the way I did it is backwards from the photo on the box.

Regardless, I have a few 1/4 scale figures, but I have only one other one on preorder (Loki), and the only other one I would consider is Zendaya as Chani. We shall see if Prime1Studio does that one.

I wanted eventually five Avengers behind me because four of them were written out of the franchise movies and I always want to remember them . . . Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man, and Loki. Thor is still around, but I imagine eventually he will be phased out too. Regardless, there will be no more Avengers.

I will show you the Avengers and the Mandalorian/Grogu more closely to you fairly soon, but since I finally got Paul Atreides I felt he should be displayed right away before these older figures.

I think Paul Atreides and the Mandalorian with Grogu will look nice together, but I am really hoping Prime1Studio does Zendaya as Chani. She would look so good next to Paul Atreides. One can hope!!!
