Rich Hill Stud is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024 and has already fostered multiple group one winners.

The property started off as a smaller district farm in 1994 in the heart of New Zealand’s fertile volcanic basin.

The first stallion acquired was Pentire, who sired 16 group one horses.

Prince of Penzance, foaled in 2009, became the Melbourne Cup winner in 2015.

King Mufhasa, foaled in 2004, won NZ Horse of the Year in 2009 and 2012 before being inducted into the NZ Racing Hall of Fame.
