"The tribunal started in the times of the caliphate of Cordoba, during the reign of (emir) Abd al-Rahman III over a thousand years ago. Maybe it wasn't a tribunal as we know it today. But it was a tribunal where they talked about the problems the irrigation canal owners had and judged over them."

In my case - I am the administrator of the Mislata canal - we have the canal exactly as it was made by the Romans and the Moors. Sometimes it's difficult to differentiate between Roman and Moorish structures. Because they've always been there."
