NEVER CLEAN A LOADED FIREARM
The first step in disassembly and/or cleaning of a firearm is ensure its unloaded.
Josh, Director of Training, goes through cleaning a striker-fired pistol and weapon mounted lights. This example is a Glock 17 Gen5 with Holosun 509T RDS, Trijicon suppressor height night sights and Streamlight TLR-1HL.
This can apply to almost any pistol with Browning-type tilting barrel designs. This includes ALL Glock models (17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 48) also the subcompact models of the Glock 42, Glock 43, & Glock 48).
This can include hammer-fired guns as well like the Classic SIG P-Series firearms, HK USP-type, SIG P320-type, Smith & Wesson (S&W) M&P series from full size to SHIELD & EZ9 and EZ380, CZ P10, and 75 , HK VP9, Walther P99, PPQ, Springfield Armory XD series, 1911 & 2011 type, FN type firearms, Ruger pistols, and Taurus G2 & G3 type firearms.
The weapon mounted light cleaning applies to ANY light ranging from SureFire, Modlite, Cloud Defensive, Streamlight, and more.
