South Darenth & Horton Kirby Circular Walk

Covid-19 lockdown local outdoor exercise.

WINTER WALK 3

This was a five-mile circular walk through the villages and surrounding countryside of South Darenth, and Horton Kirby in Kent.

Due to the River Darent bursting its banks along the section of the Darent Valley Path between Westminster Fields and Franks Lane Bridge I was unable to complete my planned walk, however, not to be put off, I took an alternative route.

All in all a very pleasant local winter walk.

Horton Kirby is a village in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. It is located 3.9 miles east of Swanley & 4.9 miles south of Dartford. Together with the nearby village of South Darenth, it forms the Horton Kirby and South Darenth civil parish.
