Quiet generator box

My home made portable generator shelter/ noise isolator project..main components used for this project as follows..Suncast GS2500 shed, Powermate PM0676801 generator, Maaxair 900cfm fan, Magnaflow 18" muffler. & etc..etc..

During the storm 'Sandy" I lost my power for 2 Days. During this time I used my generator set-up "On& off" @ three hour intervals to conserve fuel. Prior to operation I did place an extra household "Box fan" inside the shed for air circulation. On the 1st day of the test the outside temp. was 69 Deg. and the compartment temp. stabilized @ 125 Deg. On the 2nd day outside temp. was 59deg and the compartment temp. stabilized @ 117deg after 3 hours. I think it has performed way better then my expectations and I'm glad I did this project.
