• The Uniformed Services Leave Parity Act gives commissioned officers of the Public Health Service the same leave benefits provided to Army officers.
• The Employee Ownership Representation Act expands the Labor Department’s advisory council to include representatives from employee ownership organizations.
• The Retire through Ownership Act provides a clear definition of “adequate consideration” for certain closely held stock under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
• Designates the U.S. Post Office in Guthrie, Oklahoma as the Oscar J. Upham Post Office.
• Recognizes the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Postal Service.
• Recognizes the 250th birthday of the U.S. Navy.
• Designates October 1, 2025, as “Energy Efficiency Day.”
• Designates September 25, 2025, as National Ataxia Awareness Day.

❌ Failed in Senate
• The Continuing Appropriations and Extensions and Other Matters Act, 2026, the Senate’s version of the funding bill, failed reconsideration. Would have extended FY2026 funding through October 31, 2025, expanded premium tax credits, and added Medicaid funding.
• The Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026, the House version, also failed reconsideration. Would have extended FY2026 funding through November 21, 2025.
