Key Bombshell Proposals Revealed (As per Draft):

Judiciary Restructuring:

SUPREME COURT POWERS STRIPPED: Article 184 (Suo Motu/Original Jurisdiction) is ABOLISHED. The Supreme Court will now only function as an Appellate Court for civil and criminal cases.

FEDERAL CONSTITUTIONAL COURT (FCC): A new apex court (FCC) is established (Article 175B to 175L) to handle all Constitutional interpretations, Federal-Provincial disputes, and Fundamental Rights cases.

JURISDICTION SHIFT: FCC decisions will be binding on ALL courts, including the Supreme Court.

Military Command Changes (Article 243):

NEW COMMAND STRUCTURE: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) will be given the new, powerful position of Chief of Defence Forces (CDF).

CJCSC ABOLISHED: The post of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) will be eliminated.

LIFELONG HONORS: Ranks like Field Marshal will be designated "National Heroes" with lifelong uniform and privileges, removable only under Article 47 (impeachment/removal).

New Appointments Process: Changes to Article 175A giving a shared role to the Chief Justices of the Supreme Court and the new FCC, with detailed new rules for appointments, transfers, and tenures.

This amendment aims to create a "balance of powers" by centralizing constitutional interpretation in the FCC, effectively redefining the judicial landscape of Pakistan.
