With another year gone, I'm presenting another year end mix! Honestly, 2021 was a pretty weird year for me, almost as if it didn't happened lol. Anyway, I know this mix is coming out pretty later than usual, but amidst my laptop breaking, going back to school and getting sick in early January, I couldn't do much to release this quickly. But, now I'm super happy to be releasing this mix I've been working for the past few months! At first, I didn't really think I would be releasing another megamix like last year since I haven't feel connected too much with 2021's music, but I still had some inspiration and motivation in me to do this mix!

For this mash-up, I was really inspired by the fact that 2021 was a year where we slowly started to revive. Also, I think we witnessed some revival in the K-pop scene, like with Brave Girls who rose to the charts with 'Rollin'' while some other past songs and artists resurfaced throughout the year. With this in mind, I thought of making 'revival' the main theme of this mash-up which leads me to present 'RE:VIVAL', a 15-minute K-POP MEGA MASH-UP featuring 189 songs (including songs that only appear as instrumental sample)! In this mix, we go through the journey of a relationship coming back to life and individuals ending up together to fight for their freedom despite the situation. I hope the lyrics and chapters are well placed to convey this message! :)

So, it's been about 5 years since I've been doing year end mixes (I mean 'proper' ones lol), but honestly I think this is the one where I felt the most pressure from. Not really just from the issues I encountered or my free time being reduced, but mostly with how I wanted this mix to be better than my previous years'. However, I was also excited to work on this project because I've tried to be more experimental with the mix especially by playing with tempo for the transitions and some effects here and there. Also, it's the first time where the process ended up being very messy as I started placing vocal samples before finishing the instrumental and started the video before finishing the audio which was something different to experience. Anyway, you might notice that this mix is shorter than usual, but with my free time running shorter, I had to resolve to this length. Anyway, I really hope you'll enjoy this mix in which I've put a lot of effort! Also, I hope that 2022 will be a great year for everyone! Stay safe guys! :D

I'm sorry if your favorite artists/songs aren't featured in this mix! I can't add every single song that was released in 2021 because it would be way too impossible and I think 189 songs is already a lot! If a song is not here, it's probably because I couldn't find a place to fit it musically and/or lyrically in the mix. Also, keep in mind that there's limited space in the mix for the songs. So, please refrain from asking where or why a song isn't here! All the comments of that nature will be ignored or deleted. Anyway, I'm sorry again if your favorite artists/songs aren't in this! And don't take offense if a song has a shorter part in the mix, it was really hard for me to find a place for each song!
