In April of 2021 the South African Government entered into a partnership with The Prem Rawat Foundation authorizing the Foundation's Peace Education Program throughout all of the country’s 240 prisons. The Department of Correctional Services recognized the Peace Education Program for playing a powerful role in helping incarcerated people rehabilitate and reintegrate into society.
