Описание к видео Male Rage: Culture & Men’s Inner Lives | featuring Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Preston Rice

In this conversation with Dr. Preston Rice, Psy.D., we explore how male rage is often less about aggression and more about the history a person carries—trauma, cultural expectations, and the emotions men are taught not to feel.

Drawing from clinical work and personal reflection, Dr. Rice talks through the ways anger becomes a mask for grief, loneliness, and fear; how rejection touches old wounds; and why many men struggle to cry even when they want to. We move through the landscape of primary and secondary emotions, the role of EFT in helping men reconnect with themselves, and the deeply human need for relationships where vulnerability doesn’t cost one's dignity.

We also step back to look at the cultural forces shaping masculinity today—rigidity, tradition, changing norms—and how these pressures influence men’s ability to be flexible, emotionally present, and connected. This conversation offers a grounded look at how men can heal, grow, and feel more whole.
