but please, if you do visit, LEAVE NO TRACE. increased foot traffic often leads to more litter, damaged trails, and harm to wildlife. so please, let's work together to protect these beautiful places - respect nature, stay on marked trails, pack out everything you bring in, and leave it better than you found it. that way, others can enjoy it just as much as you (and i) did :)

*note: if you have sore/weak knees and want to do the day one hike- I would recommend doing it in reverse (starting at the lake and hiking up)- it's a steep decent that is not for the weak knees (literally)
