Thanks to Microsoft for giving me an early copy of Battletoads. Here are my first impressions:

The game plays well and the characters are now fast enough compared to last year.

There are different sections in the game: Beat m Up, 2d Platformer, Space Shooter ... which I found all good. However, the 2D platformer levels can’t reach games like Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.
You can play the game alone or with 2 other people on a console. Unfortunately there is no online multiplayer mode = /. I enjoyed the game more in multiplayer, but can also be played well alone. Either way the game is fun.
There are different levels of difficulty, so in contrast to the old games, you should get through the game well.
I thought the cutscenes and humor were mostly good, but can't go into detail due to spoilers. Battletoads also appears in Xbox Game Pass.
