Mere Jazbaat Episode 25 ~ Prof. Harpal Singh Pannu ~ Iran & Irani ~ My Iran Visit

This is season 3 of Mere Jazbaat. In this episode, Pendu Australia team visited Patiala where we got a chance to talk to Prof Harpal Singh Pannu. We asked him to start this season from his life Journey. So he started from his childhood, he shared his college life. How he got admission in college and how he arranged his fees and other expenses. He shared his memories of his P.Hd. admission. How he arranged his study and job timings together. He also shared his first meeting with the vice-chancellor of the university. He also shared his memories of Mohindra College when he saw all the famous poets together in his collage. The first time he saw Shiv Kumar Batalvi, Amrita Pritam, Prof Mohan Singh and many more. There one incident happened when Famous singer of that time, Yamla Jatt came to listen to all those poets. He talked about his friend and Urdu's great poet Satnam Singh Khumaar. Satnam Singh Khumaar wrote so many famous Urdu ghazals. His shayari was very famous but people were not aware if the poet. Prof. Pannu shared his bond with Khumaar Sahab and his friend Swami Nitya Chaitanya Yati. He started from Guru Gobind Singh's Nanded visit and meeting with Madho Das Vairaagi who became Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. How he came in Punjab and fought so many battles against Mughals. History of India had been changed after that. He talked about the battle of Chaparchiri. He said how Bhai Fateh Singh killed Wazir Khan and how Baba Banda Singh Bahadur established a place in the memory of Chhote Sahibzaade. Prof. Pannu talked about the khalsa Empire of Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Prof. Pannu told that that was the best time of Punjab. Punjab developed a lot during that period. That was golden era of Punjab. So many brilliant people came to punjab and they were loving to live here.In this episode, Prof Pannu shared his memories of their Iran visit. ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਜ਼ਜ਼ਬਾਤ ਦਾ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ 3 ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਪਟਿਆਲੇ ਗਈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੋ: ਹਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਦਾਖਲੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿਵੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਫੀਸ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਖਰਚੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੀ.ਐਚ.ਡੀ. ਦੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਇਕੋ ਸਮੇਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਉਪ ਕੁਲਪਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਹਿੰਦਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਠੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਬਟਾਲਵੀ, ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ, ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਉਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਗਾਇਕ, ਯਮਲਾ ਜੱਟ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਆਏ।ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪੰਨੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਰਦੂ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਵੀ ਸਤਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੁਮਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸਤਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਉਰਦੂ ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲਾਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਇਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਕਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪ੍ਰੋ: ਪੰਨੂੰ ਨੇ ਖੁਮਾਰ ਸਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਨਿਤਿਆ ਚੈਤਨਯ ਯਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰੋ: ਪੰਨੂੰ ਨੇ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਨਿਤਿਆ ਚੈਤਨਯ ਯਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਤਰੰਨੁਮ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਲੜਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪੰਨੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਾਮਰਾਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਦੇੜ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਾਧੋ ਦਾਸ ਵੈਰਾਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਤੋਂ। ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਲੜੀਆਂ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪੰਨੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਚੱਪੜਚਿੜੀ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਭਾਈ ਫਤਿਹ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਜਾਦੇ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਬਣਾਈ। ਪ੍ਰੋ: ਪੰਨੂੰ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਰਾਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋ: ਪੰਨੂੰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਸਰਬੋਤਮ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਯੁੱਗ ਸੀ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਿਪੁੰਨ ਲੋਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਭਾਗ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰੋ: ਪੰਨੂੰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਈਰਾਨ ਫੇਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਈਰਾਨ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਸਬੱਬ ਬਣਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਈਰਾਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਰਿਹਾ? ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਐਪੀਸੋਡ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰੋ।
