Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun and is the third-largest planet in our solar system. It is known for its distinctive blue-green color, which comes from the presence of methane gas in its atmosphere. Uranus has a total of 27 known moons, with the five largest being Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, and Oberon.

Miranda is the smallest of the five largest moons of Uranus and has a highly varied surface, with cliffs, canyons, and craters that suggest past geological activity. Ariel is the fourth-largest moon and is known for its smooth, crater-free surface and its bright, narrow rings. Umbriel is the third-largest moon and has a heavily cratered surface that suggests it is one of the oldest objects in the Uranian system.

Titania is the largest of the Uranian moons and the eighth-largest moon in the solar system. It has a heavily cratered surface, but also has a number of large canyons and rift valleys that suggest past geological activity. Oberon is the second-largest moon and has a heavily cratered surface, similar to Umbriel.

All of the Uranian moons are believed to have formed from debris left over from the planet's formation, and most are heavily cratered due to impacts from space debris. However, some of the moons also show evidence of past geological activity, such as tectonic activity and volcanic eruptions.

The Uranian system is also notable for its unique orientation, with the planet's axis tilted at an extreme angle of about 98 degrees relative to its orbit around the Sun. This gives Uranus distinct seasonal variations, with one pole experiencing 42 years of continuous daylight and the other pole experiencing 42 years of continuous darkness. The cause of this extreme tilt is still not fully understood, but it may have been caused by a collision with a massive object early in the planet's history.
