How to be less emotional #1 Be sure to get enough sleep.

The absolute fastest way to become overly sensitive and emotional is to be sleep deprived. If we don’t get enough sleep our emotions can go just about every way and we become very emotional so be sure to get to bed in time and if you have trouble sleeping keep listening because there will be more on that in a moment.

How to be less emotional #2 Are you stressing too much?

If so then do your best to make changes in your daily routines to reduce your overall stress levels because stress is also a very big contributor to us becoming emotional and overly sensitive. There are good supplements for stress out there and also a lot of good techniques to reduce stress that you can learn and implement.

How to be less emotional #3

Hormonal imbalances. Particularly having too much estrogen. Yes, that goes for both men and women. To lower your estrogen levels eat a lot of green vegetables, especially broccoli and avoid foods like dairy, beans, soy and processed foods. Also avoid drinking from plastic bottles..when it comes to your diet, in general eat less carbohydrates and more protein. A paleo diet is pretty good for keeping the hormones in check.

How to be less emotional-how to be less sensitive #4

Your serotonin levels may be a bit too low. This one most likely to be the biggest factor, of all these 4 points for most people ..and I talk from experience here.
When serotonin drops it’s easy to become very sensitive and get crying spells as well as many other related emotional states. The good news is we can increase it naturally , here are a few ways of doing that:
exercising,
being out in the sun
be sure to get enough vitamin B6
eating diet rich in protein with a small amount of carbs right before bedtime (the carbs is to help drive the tryptophan we get from the protein rich diet into the brain and there the tryptophan starts the process of turning into serotonin... going through a few steps that I won’t be talking about here)
