Rice Krispies Ornaments - with yoyomax12

Описание к видео Rice Krispies Ornaments - with yoyomax12

These ornaments start off as a basic Rice Krispie recipe :)
Chocolate chip cookie dough truffle ornaments video:
   • Edible Ornaments (made with chocolate...

6 cups rice krispies
4 tbsp butter or margarine
40 regular sized marshmallows

Divide the ingredients into two if you plan on making two colours.
Place marshmallows and butter in a bowl and microwave for 1.5 minutes or until marshmallows are puffy and butter is melted.
You can do this step on the stove in a saucepan on low heat instead of the microwave if you want.

Stir marshmallows and butter together until smooth, add in food colour and stir. Stir in rice krispies cereal and stir until coated.
Allow to cool long enough to handle with bare hands.
Moisten hands with water, scoop out a portion of rice krispies and mold into a ball shape.
Wrap a candy (Rollo, miniature reese's pb cup) with gold foil.
Poke two small holes on the top with a toothpick or skewer and insert a small piece of licorice into the holes to make a little loop.
Attach ornament top to ball with some melted chocolate or candy melts.
Allow to harden and store in a sealed container at room temperature.

Just realized when looking at the source photo that they appear to have been coated with coloured sugar as well, that is a good idea!!!!
