Slammer is now being REMOVED from Thorpe Park

We knew it was coming, however it has now been confirmed that Slammer at Thorpe Park will be removed before the start of the 2025 season.

In new documents submitted the removal of Slammer comes as no surprise, although the ride has been closed since 2017 awaiting removal. The S&S SKy Swat ride operated at the park from 2005 through to May 2027, however with the model discontinued the park had little option but to close the attraction.

The removal is planned for 3rd February to be completed by the 24th February 2025, ready for the start of the new season. The area currently has no plans in terms of replacement, certainly not for 2025. With the area looking to remain "as is" without Slammer in position.
