The group Colors, a leading exponent of jazz music which has been called by some critics "the new European chamber jazz". The repertoire includes two compositions by Eberhard Weber: "Sand-Glass" and "Yellow Fields". The quartet consists of the German bassist Eberhard Weber, his compatriot Rainer Brüninghaus, piano / keyboard instruments, the American saxophonist Charlie Mariano, who can also be heard on flutes and an Indian instrument called nagaswaram, and Jon Christensen, Norwegian drummer with an increasingly solid international reputation.
