In this lesson, we continue our exploration of data parsing, specifically focusing on line items.

You will learn to establish relationships in the database so that when a customer or invoice is deleted, the corresponding records in the invoices and line items tables are also removed.

You then will delve into the script, enhancing it to parse line items by copying the invoice loop section and modifying it to total line items instead. You will create variables to capture item IDs, descriptions, quantities, and prices, ensuring that we correctly reference the invoice ID.

Throughout the process, we emphasize the importance of error trapping to handle potential issues, such as missing invoices or improperly formatted data. After tightening the script, we run tests to verify that the parsing works correctly, successfully navigating through multiple invoices and their associated line items.
