Sighting in and getting a feel for my new (to me) Sharps Quigley.

I had been pining away for a Sharps rifle for some time. Unfortunately, I wasn't going to be able to afford a Shiloh Sharps. When I had the opportunity to snag this one. I jumped on it. It is used but well cared for. The gun itself is a Pedersoli Sharps falling block action with a 34" octagonal barrel. Pedersoli tang sight with a hooded globe -style front sight.

For anyone who has seen "Quigley Down Under" this rifle is modeled after the gun from the movie. With the exception being that this one is chambered in 45-70 gov rather than 45-110.

I know it isn't a Shiloh, but this rifle is GORGEOUS. I think it's a keeper.
