Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson argued with Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison about immigration enforcement in the state during a tense hearing on Capitol Hill. Johnson slammed activists protesting immigration enforcement in Minnesota, suggesting state officials were encouraging them to not comply with federal agents. It resulted in a heated exchange between the two.

"A tragedy was going to happen, and you encouraged it, and you ought to feel damn guilty about it," Johnson yelled at Ellison.

"Everything you said was untrue. It was a nice theatrical performance, but it was all lies," Ellison replied.

Johnson then accused Ellison of smirking at him and retorted, "You disgust me."
