Since receiving the Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory I have been having ejection issues. Sometimes it got as bad as every 3-4 shots fired and I would have to pull the slide back a little to clear the feeding path of a shell casing. Being the most accurate of the handguns that I have, it was really an annoying shame as it was not seeing any use because of this. So...I took it upon myself to do a little gunsmithing and finding out what the issue was.

After reading everything I could in the manual and on forums and watching MANY Youtube videos, I was pretty sure that I would be able to fix it myself. My last attempt yielded okay results giving me about 6-8 shots fired without an issue, but I was still not able to get through a full magazine without a jam. Knowing that I was heading in the right direction, I went a little further (as seen in this video) and it now works flawlessly! Over 200 rounds fired today and not a single casing got jammed or a failure to fire.

On top of all of that, in 20 rounds I had a grouping of less than an inch at about 6 metres (20 feet). In 100 rounds I had a grouping of just over 3 inches and the bullseye was just an open gap in the target.

So if you are having ejection problems with your Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory then give your welded on ejector a couple taps outward and see what happens!
