Major hospitals including Max, Medanta, and others are set to suspend cashless treatment facilities for policyholders of Bajaj Allianz, Care Health, and Niva Bupa from September 1, 2025.

The dispute arises due to pricing conflicts between hospitals and insurance companies.
Over 15,000 hospitals could be impacted across India.


The General Insurance Council (GIC) has criticized this “unilateral decision” and called for urgent government intervention, but until resolved, patients could face financial stress.
