King Street Turnaround are fronted by veteran blues man Jon Amor, known throughout Europe for his time with The Hoax. Now well established as a musician and performer in his own right and his collaboration with other energetic Blues supergroups. With King Street Turnaround Jon is joined by a superb backline of Evan Newman on keyboards, Jerry Soffe on bass and Tom GIlkes on drums
The video, shot from a seat in the audience, with an on-camera mike, cannot do justice to the dynamic brilliance of the band’s spirited and exuberant talent and performance.
This was the second time Teign Jazz & Blues had managed to book Jon and his band and the tickets sold out quickly when the members heard they were coming. Thanks to Teign Corinthian Yacht Club for hosting this gig and lots more.
