Welcome to "Borderline" — an epic mountain hunting film set deep in the remote Mackenzie Mountains of the Yukon Territory.

This is the story of a true wilderness adventure: a DIY fly-in hunt for mountain caribou and Dall sheep, in one of the wildest and most rugged places on earth.

Dropped off by float plane on a remote alpine lake, we set out on foot into a remote block of untamed country. For 7 days, we lived in the mountains, navigating drainages, glassing deep valleys, and chasing game in steep terrain. On Day 4, after endless miles and hard-earned elevation, we were lucky enough to connect with two giant mountain caribou — both taken on the summit of a massive peak, miles from the lake where we were dropped off.

The real work began when the shots rang out. We field dressed the bulls, packed every ounce of meat on our backs, and began the long 10-kilometer packout through unforgiving country, back to our extraction point. That meat fed our families for two full years — a gift from the land we won’t soon forget.
