Heavy Wildfire Smoke in the North Cascades National Park, Washington /// Maple Pass Loop

Join us on a hike along the Maple Pass loop in Washington's North Cascades. Normally known for its sweeping panoramic views, our trip was a bit different, with wildfire smoke veiling much of the landscape. While the clear mountain vistas were hidden, the trail still offered a nice little hike through the trees and mountains. Though conditions weren’t ideal, the beauty of the forest and lakes shone through in quieter ways. A reminder that nature is unpredictable, but always worth the experience.
