A cagey character | Dutch Defense - Standard Chess #58

Описание к видео A cagey character | Dutch Defense - Standard Chess #58

I late-joined a Rapid tournament while I was livestreaming. Highlighted is the 4th and final game I played in the event. I had the black pieces and played the Dutch Defense. My opponent's 2nd move was atypical, allowing me to worry a little less about a quick central break. The game as a whole proceeded slowly and with minimal exchanges. The pawns had the greatest impact on the game; black had a 4th rank pawn duo whereas white had a 3rd rank pawn duo. Observe how those duos ultimately influenced the quality/position of the pieces. The Rapid time control for this game is 10 minutes with a 0 second increment.

I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8.
