As the monsoon session 2023 of the parliament starts, fiery exchange and ruckus by the opposition have made the speaker and vice-president Jagdeep Dhankar adjourn for the day.
The opposition has raised the issues of Manipur violence and the horror captured in the viral video while asking for the resignation of Manipur CM.
While the violence in Manipur has been out of control for a couple of months, a viral video of a mob making women paraded naked and raping them has recently come to light.
This inhumane video and treatment have shocked the entire nation, while the PM has promised strict action will be taken toward the culprits, celebrities and civilians alike are showing solidarity for the women and asking for strict capital punishment for the culprits.
The opposition also constantly attacked and threw jibes at the PM stating his 'incompetence at stopping the violence'
thus adjourning the Lok Sabha for the day.
