Welcome back to Single Sip American Coffee Trip! Continuing my Southern Vermont tour, I head north on 91 away from Brattleboro, to mini Brattleboro, or Bellows Falls in the Common tongue. Standing right in the center of all the action is a buyer of 1A Coffee. A place I sometimes deliver to, Flat Iron Cooperative. The space is filled with cozy chairs, and a big big big counter running almost the entire length of the cafe. In the back, right in the center, is a stage with room for a small band to play. This place could be a Top Pick, but it could equally not hit the mark. Lack of professional experience among the staff is likely the biggest culprit, as the espresso appears to sometimes be dialed in, and other times pulled as Lungo shots. Toooo lungo.
