We, teachers, clinicians, and pastors, are working to serve others in unprecedented times of crisis and loss. The experience, whether we realize it or not, often includes lament.. This CAPS Conversation by Liz Hall, from research conducted with her colleague Kelly Kapic, is a profound and practical example of the integration of faith, science, and practice. It's an important message that needs to be heard by those who serve as well as those who are served.

CAPS is excited to begin offering video podcasts focused on contemporary integration topics. Periodically, a new video will be released to our members with some of the nation’s leading experts in the area of integrating Christian faith, psychological science and counseling practice.


CAPS members serve as psychologists, counselors, educators, marriage and family therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, professional and lay counselors, researchers, pastoral counselors, and students.


CAPS is more than a professional association; it is a fellowship. While CAPS members represent a variety of denominations, professional groups and theoretical orientations, they are united in their commitment to Christ and to professional excellence. It is this common foundational passion that compels us to engage with one another professionally, spiritually and personally.
