Every Nurse Needs These: Compression Socks Explained

Описание к видео Every Nurse Needs These: Compression Socks Explained

Nurses and nursing school students: save your legs by wearing compression socks (also called compression stockings). Standing and walking around on a hard surface for 12-hours or more can be brutal on your feet and legs.

One way you can help save your legs as a nurse is to wear compression stockings (aka compression socks). These help compress your legs and improve blood flow, which helps prevent leg soreness and varicose veins from developing.

I've been wearing compression socks for years, and I also wore them toward the end of my pregnancy, too. And yes, male nurses also wear them!

There are many great brands, but I liked the cute EKG design of the ones in this video. I purchased them from Amazon for around $9.99 for a 3 pack. Here's an affiliate ad link of the ones I bought: https://amzn.to/3vEj9NM

They come in different compression grades, and I usually buy the 20-30 mmHg grade.

I hope that helps save your legs!
