After describing your business idea, we'll now take you through how to complete the remaining steps in the application process successfully. You will be given a 45 minute test to complete your 2024 TEF $5000 Grant application. Successful applicants would be contacted by April 22nd, 2024.

Launched in 2015, the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), have become the leading philanthropic organisation empowering young African entrepreneurs in all 54 African countries,
The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme is a $100 million commitment by the foundation to empower 10,000 African entrepreneurs through training, mentorship, and funding over a ten-year period. The objective is to generate at least 1 million jobs and over $10 billion for the African economy. Many of these objectives have already been surpassed.

Through its Entrepreneurship Programme, the Foundation empowers African entrepreneurs and the ecosystem of entrepreneurship in 54 African nations. The TEF training curriculum has been designed to categorise entrepreneurs according to their demonstrated knowledge and capability.

The application form consists of four parts:

Personal information
Commercial information
Cognitive assessment
Declaration section

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE PROGRAMME?

The TEF Entrepreneurship Programme is delivered in the different phases listed below:

(1) Application Phase

(2) Training & Mentorship Phase

(3) Business Plan Submission Phase

(4) Pitching Phase

(5) Seed Capital Phase

We are currently in the application phase now, and it will run till March 31. Once applications are closed, eligible applicants will be given access to the World Class Business Training Programme.
