This is the last chunk on the big block I was working on a while back near Viola, Oregon. It was pretty difficult, steep and parts of it were steep right down to the unit boundary. I cut everything else first, trying to give this as much time to dry out this spring as I could. In the end it worked out much better than I was afraid of, I got almost all of it, there were some fringes that I couldn't reach that the handfallers had to tip down so Cody could get them with the big shovel. I thought I'd talk a little about some ways I go about working on a tough piece. Hope it's interesting, thanks for watching!
