Planning a ski trip? What you need to know...

We love skiing and life in the winter mountains, but the most complex part of the whole adventure is booking the trip. From where to stay, how to get there and the all important hidden costs that are not included in a package holiday. Join us as we go through some of things that we considered when booking our 2024 ski holiday as a family. Our adult kids are flying out for the week, and we are driving to Alps in our VW campervan as we are extending our skiing season by staying on a campsite in our van for an extra few weeks.

We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We retired from teaching at the age of 51 in the summer of 2022. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travelling the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.
