Making MONSTER FACES 👾 Using a Zoe's Fancy Cakes FACE MOULD

I have used the Abbie face mould (my original face mould with eyes) to create these faces, and tried to adapt them to create more monster like faces.

I am currently creating a full tutorial for turning these faces into full mermaids.

A dusting of corn flour in the mould to stop paste sticking – https://bit.ly/corn_flour_pouch
I tend to work on a cutting mat as its fairly non-stick – https://bit.ly/craft_mat
My knife is a Kuhn Rikon paring knife (and I love this one) – https://bit.ly/kuhnrikonknives
I use wooden kebab skewers to help me take the face out of the mould – https://bit.ly/bambooskewer
Using a polystyrene ball makes it easier to remove it from the mould ( 2-3cm one is best) – https://bit.ly/polyspheres
I tend to use a size 4 or 5 sable brush for adding water or edible glue to my work – https://bit.ly/sablebrush
My modelling tool is a PME flower and leaf veining tool (dresden tool) – https://bit.ly/PMEdresden
Use a sharp craft knife to open the mouth, my favourite is this one – https://bit.ly/bluehandlecraftknife
I use Fractal pens for the lips, eyelashes and face details – https://bit.ly/FractalPen
