Rain didn’t stop our Blackpool weekend! 🌧️🎡🐠👨‍👧‍👦✨

We headed to Blackpool for the weekend and the forecast was nothing but heavy rain and strong winds 🌧️💨🌊. Even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we still made the most of it and had such a fun time with the kids 🎢🎪🐟.

Our first stop was Sea Life Blackpool 🐠🦈🐡 where the little ones loved watching all the sea creatures up close, from colourful fish 🐟 to jellyfish 🌊 and even sharks 🦈. We had planned to go up Blackpool Tower 🗼👀 that day but it was cancelled because of the weather 🌧️, so instead we went to the Blackpool Tower Circus 🎭🎪🤹 – and it turned out to be such a great show! 🎉👏 After that we tucked into some tasty Caribbean food at Turtle Bay 🍴🍹🌴 and then drove down the strip 🚗💡 to see the famous Blackpool Illuminations ✨🌈🎆. The rain was coming down too heavy to walk it, but the lights were still amazing to see from the car 🚘👀.

The next morning we had breakfast at Cafe 47 ☕🍳🥓 – the service was top notch ⭐👌 – and then finally managed to go up the infamous Blackpool Tower 🗼🎡 before making our way home 🚗🏠. Despite the rain 🌧️, it ended up being a really fun family weekend full of laughs, food, lights, and memories ❤️👨‍👧‍👦📸.
