T'puram: Not only Ajay Tharayil, but former Travancore Devaswom Board president Prayar Gopalakrishnan also convened TDB meeting alone and took important decisions. It is seen that the decision to increase the rates for offerings (vazhipadu) at Pamba was taken by Prayar. Though Ajay Tharayil had reached Thiruvananthapuram as per travel allowance bills, his name also was included in the minutes. On 9 August 2016, the TDB meeting was attended by Prayar alone; but in the minutes of the meeting, Tharayil also has signed.
