Omiš is a place that you absolutely must see! The Croatian town and port of Omiš is situated on the Adriatic Sea coast in the Split-Dalmatia County. It is encircled by breathtaking mountains and rocks near the entrance of the Cetina River.

Throughout its long history, Omiš has been impacted by many different cultures, including as the Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, and Ottomans.

Historic Old Town: Omiš's old town is distinguished by its picturesque squares, stone homes, and winding, tiny lanes. It is a reflection of the town's heritage and history.
Fortresses: Omiš is renowned for its fortifications, which were originally employed to keep the town safe from intruders.
The Fortica stronghold in Starigrad is very well-known and provides sweeping views of the surroundings.
Beaches: The town is a well-liked location for swimming, water sports, and sunbathing because of its lovely pebble beaches along the coast.
