Un château royal à Paris ! Le château de Madrid au Bois de Boulogne. A royal castle in Paris !

Le château de Madrid (ou de Boulogne) fut construit sous l'ordre du roi François 1er et terminé sous Henri II son fils.
Il était situé au nord de l'actuel Bois de Boulogne à Paris. De grands noms tels que Delorme, Le Primatice et Della Robbia participèrent à sa construction et à sa décoration. La célébrité du château était due à ses façades couvertes de faïences très colorées.
Par manque d'entretien, le château tombe vite en ruine et est finalement démoli à la fin du XVIIIème siècle.
Je vous présente aussi l'intérieur de la grande salle du château. Si les volumes sont bons, les couleurs sont le fruit de mon imagination.

The castle of Madrid (or Boulogne) was built under the order of King Francis 1st and completed under Henry 2nd his son.
It was located north of the current Bois de Boulogne in Paris. Big names such as Delorme, Le Primatice and Della Robbia participated in its construction and decoration. The castle was famous for its façades covered with colorful ceramics.
Due to lack of maintenance, the castle quickly fell into ruin and was finally demolished at the end of the 18th century.
I also show you the interior of the great hall of the castle. If the volumes are good, the colors are the fruit of my imagination.
