Alex Grant is an expert in battery supply chains. He previously studied chemical engineering and philosophy at McGill, then went on to co-found Lilac Solutions, a company which has received funding from Bill Gates and is currently extracting Lithium from the Salton Sea. After Lilac, he founded Jade Cove, where he consults and publishes research about the future of battery supply chains, which is important because lithium demand is growing so rapidly that the demand in 2030 will be nearly triple what we are currently predicting we will be able to supply.
