Embark on a delightful journey through the heart of Kolkata as we present a captivating compilation of our pandal hopping and street food escapades during this year's Durga Puja, spanning over the last three days. This exploration encapsulates the very essence of this cherished festival.

This extraordinary experience unfolds under the guidance of our knowledgeable and enthusiastic hosts—Pritha, Ashsish, and Navin. Together, we set out on a mesmerizing street food tour and pandal hopping extravaganza, creating lasting memories amidst the festive fervor.

On Ashtami and Nabami, we were accompanied by Pritha, an aspiring academician and a proud resident of North Kolkata. Her profound knowledge and cultural insights enriched our exploration. we began with the irresistible allure of freshly prepared rabri at Babulal Yadav Sweet Shop. The owner's anecdotes about the business's journey added a personal touch to our culinary exploration. Our next stop at Dharmendra Shop, famed for club kachuri. Despite a subtle note of soda, it proved truly irresistible when paired with a no onion garlic potato curry.

Our cultural immersion continued with our visit to Pathuriaghata Rajbari and knowing about it's heritage. The day concluded with a visit to a unique pandal that based on the often hushed topic of menstruation. It was a very commendable marquee that portrayed all details with sensitivity.

On Navami, we explored two popular pujas in Behala, one ingeniously themed around Puchka, a true ode to Bengali's love for street food. The whole experience led us to the newly launched My Foodcka stall followed by a traditional street vendor, evoking timeless flavors.

On Dashami, we joined our new friends Ashish and Navin for a delightful food walk around Bagbazar. Highlights included kochuri tarkari and dhoka from Potlar Fritter Shop and yummy sweets from Bhabatarini. The tour concluded with milk cake and refreshing kesar chai at Sharma Tea. Our heartfelt thanks to Ashish and Navin for weaving this rich canvas of cultural exploration and culinary delight.
