“Double cleansing means cleansing your face twice, first with an oil-based product and then followed by a water-based cleanser. The first step of using an oil-based cleanser is helpful when it comes to removing waterproof makeup and sunscreen. While there are polarizing views on this amazing Korean techinque so people including dermatologists say it’s not a must, in my experience it’s a non negotiable. Even if you don’t wear makeup, but if you wear sunscreen ( I hope you do) it’s really difficult to break down with regular cleansers.
