Watercolor Painting in Mythomorphia Coloring Book Relaxing Satisfying Videos

In this video, I'm coloring a page from the gorgeous new coloring book Mythomorphia by Kerby Rosanes and I'm using Cotman Watercolor Paints.

The coloring page I chose to do with the Watercolors is the Cleopatra / Pharaoh double spread page.

I made this into a speed painting video added some lovely music to the background. It's not sped up too much though. Just enough to keep the whole video as short as possible but still enabling you to see exactly how I'm using the watercolors.

I did prepare the page first of all with 3 coats of Winsor and Newton clear gesso to prevent the watercolors from soaking into the page too fast and causing problems. I do have a video on the exact way I do this if you would like to watch it, here is a link    • Видео  

I have added the paint colors and mixes to the video as I go along, for anybody who wants to replicate my color scheme.

So the items I used in this video are firstly the Mythomorphia Coloring Book itself, Winsor & Newton Clear Gesso, Cotman Watercolor Paints, Princeton Round Brush 4050 No's 3 & 5, White Gouache, an old soft paintbrush to apply the gouache for the clouds, and an old cloth or kitchen towel to dab off excess water or paint from the brushes, 2 jars of water, one for cleaning the brushes in, and one clean clear water for mixing with the paints.
