Missing Shrink Text to Fit Option in Keynote

If you ever found yourself trying to find the SHRINK TEXT TO FIT option in Keynote and you can’t find it, this video will show you how to get to that option. If you are using custom textboxes in Keynote, you won’t get that option.

The Shrink Text To Fit option is only available with PRE-SET text boxes. These are the textbooks that are part of a theme or can be found if you select any slides from the Slide Layout with text (select the Add Slide from the top shortcuts). The Shrink Text to Fit option is under Format — Text — Layout. The default boxes with pre-set text will have the Shrink Text to Fit Option.

Then you can style the text there as you like and the textbox will adjust as you resize it. Under Format — Text — Style you can specify the maximum text size for the resizing.
